“You can, you should, and if you’re brave enough to start, you will.”Stephen King

I’m a freelance writer, but more than that I prefer the term “brand storyteller” or “brand journalist”. It describes me and my content in a more clear way. I live in the foothills of Darjeeling, popular as “Queen of the hills.”

Having a military family background, I studied at military schools in a strict and disciplined environment. Now, as I look back, it helped me build strong principles, ethics, and discipline towards my life. Honestly, though, I never felt proud of it. I always wanted the freedom and live life by my own rules.

After finishing my high school, I went to Calcutta (Kolkata) for further studies in college. I joined the Scottish Church College with Political Science honors. The three years went as smooth as formula one tracks, and I got my graduate degree. Since my early days, I was a voracious reader and had a love for writing. I wrote a few fictional short stories in my childhood; although it never got out of my diary, neither anyone knows about it. It was my own personal fantasy.

After graduation, I thought of writing, but as a career. Right now, I’m obsessed with having my own business and be self-employed. That’s when I took a decision, one of the most important and serious decisions of my short life, to be a freelance writer. I self-studied for months to improve my writing style and knowledge of the business world. Then, an idea struck me to be a storyteller of brands. I adopted the journalist’s style, unbiased and non-promotional, for creating content. My journey is still on, determined and focused like never before.
